JOB DESCRIPTION: DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Colorado Springs. This position works under the direction of the Digital Manager. The primary function of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to implement successful marketing initiatives for multiple business units. The position is responsible for attracting target customers through SEM, paid social media, geofencing, Google ads and SEO optimization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Establish digital strategy, working with Digital Manager and digital team on digital accounts in a wide variety of industries

· Oversee the management of 15-20 Google Ad accounts

· Daily management of monthly budgets and monitoring of campaign pacing

· Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing

· Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization

· Research and analyze competitor advertising links

· Perform bid management and optimization on all campaigns

· Work with the development team to ensure SEM best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code

· Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEM content creation and programming

· Compile regular reporting insights to internal teams and clients

· Present SEM campaign strategies and results to clients

· Analyze trend in the automotive, healthcare and other industries and bring fresh ideas and implement fresh ideas into campaigns

· Create/schedule paid social media ads across multiple platforms

· Manage media content and paid advertisements on digital platforms such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube

· Develop quarterly SEO strategies in line with the account team’soverall marketing strategy/goals for the client, taking into account eachclient’s site and areas that need to be improved and optimized

· Be proficient in conducting advanced keyword research locally and nationally. Analyze keyword mapping, conduct competitor keyword analysis.

· Ability to manage content plan, oversee content production and ensure all content is properly optimized

· Maximize all content production by finding ways to distribute, share and syndicate content across the web

· Identify offsite SEO properties and develop a content interaction plan to place key content in relevant places around the web

· Ensure a continuous stream of high-authority back links are being created from relevant sites around the web

· Collaborate with internal social media team to ensure effective links and references are being placed within social posts to maximize social media references

· Use key analytics tools to track and measure SEO performance, test, tweak and constantly improve

· Continuously monitor and update: GMB and other directory listings for all clients

· Prepare SEO proposals for new business presentations as needed

· Lead SEO discussions and report on SEO performance in key client meetings

· Keep up to date with changes in search engine rankings, new developments, Google algorithm updates, etc. (both white hat and black hat SEO strategies), ensure AdPro is always well within Google search engine guidelines

Execute Email Marketing Campaigns for Clients

· Analyze trends in the automotive, healthcare, tourism, education and other industries and bring and implement fresh ideas into campaigns

· Monitor industry trends and competitors’ marketing activities

· Compile regular reporting insights to internal teams and clients

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in advertising, digital marketing or related field

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including creative writing skills

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

· Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques

· Working knowledge of inbound marketing and search engine optimization

· Knowledge of customer relationship management software

· Proficiency in computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Words and PowerPoint

· High level of integrity and dependability with a keen sense of urgency and results-focus

· Effective communication skills; including writing, routine correspondence, reports, presentations and interpersonal communication

· Leadership, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills (including the handling of multiple priorities and deadlines)

· Effective organizational skills

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

· Four-year degree at accredited college in marketing, advertising, digital, or related field

· Minimum of three years of experience managing Google Ads accounts; current Google certifications preferred

· Experience working with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics; experience with Facebook Ads, Google Data Studio, Facebook Ads, and YouTube

· Solid understanding of digital marketing data trends and SEM KPIs and the tradeoffs associated with each

· Social media marketing certification

· Graphic design skills

· Experience with WordPress

· Advertising agency experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
