Digital Marketing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing Specialist with proven experience in managing and optimizing Shopify and other eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving online traffic, improving conversion rates, and managing paid and organic digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize digital marketing strategies to increase traffic, conversions, and sales.
  • Manage Shopify store operations, including product uploads, SEO optimization, and performance tracking.
  • Plan and execute Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads, and other PPC campaigns to achieve ROAS targets.
  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.) for customer engagement and retention.
  • Conduct SEO and content optimization for product listings, landing pages, and blogs.
  • Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and Shopify Analytics to identify improvement areas.
  • Manage social media presence, ensuring brand consistency and engagement growth across platforms.
  • Coordinate with designers and content creators to produce high-quality visuals and ad creatives.
  • Research and benchmark competitors to identify growth opportunities and emerging eCommerce trends.
  • Monitor and report weekly/monthly performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, CAC, ROI).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Shopify, Shopify Apps, and integrations (e.g., Google Merchant Center, Meta Pixel).
  • Proficient in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Experience with email automation tools such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp.
  • Familiarity with Shopify Liquid, basic HTML/CSS, or website optimization is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team setting.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other eCommerce platforms (WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce).
  • Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing.
  • Understanding of remarketing, affiliate marketing, and influencer collaboration.
  • Basic understanding of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Figma).
