Digital Marketing Specialist

Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in supporting the company’s digital growth by creating, executing, and optimizing marketing initiatives across multiple platforms. This role combines creative design talent with strong technical digital marketing skills to support e-commerce partners, strengthen social media presence, develop digital assets, and support both marketplace and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) engagement. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, social content creation, and digital campaign execution, with a sharp eye for design and branding.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Digital Content Creation & Design

  • Develop high-quality digital assets including social graphics, product images, web banners, promotional materials, and short-form video content.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) to create brand-consistent visuals.
  • Source, edit, and manage imagery from Adobe Stock and Shutterstock.
  • Organize and maintain a digital asset library accessible to internal departments.

Email & CRM Marketing

  • Build and deploy email campaigns through Mailchimp with proper list segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics tracking.
  • Coordinate seasonal messages aligned with greeting card cycles and retail holidays.
  • Review reporting metrics and implement improvements for campaign performance.

Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Manage daily posting and content scheduling across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), Pinterest, and Snapchat.
  • Create engaging content showcasing product releases, behind-the-scenes studio work, and brand storytelling.
  • Track and analyze performance through Sprout Social.
  • Utilize Epidemic Sounds to enhance audio-based content.

E-Commerce & Marketplace Support

  • Support digital marketing efforts across D2C platforms and external marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, Faire, and others).
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce team to update product listings, SEO copy, campaign graphics, and keyword optimization.
  • Assist with marketplace promotional assets and seasonal product pushes.

Website & Digital Advertising

  • Update website visuals, landing pages, and promotional graphics using Canva and other digital tools.
  • Support digital advertising efforts including search engine campaigns (SEC), remarketing ads, and display creative.
  • Track key engagement metrics (traffic, click-through, conversions).

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Development, Sales, Creative, and Production teams to ensure accurate digital representation of seasonal assortment and product features.
  • Support internal digital communications, virtual catalogs, and trade show preparation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field; OR equivalent work experience.
  • 2–4 years of digital marketing experience in consumer goods, retail, greeting cards, gifts, or a similar industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
  • Strong knowledge of Canva, Mailchimp, Sprout Social, Adobe Stock, and Shutterstock.
  • Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat).
  • Experience supporting D2C programs and marketplace channels (Amazon, Walmart, Faire).
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with digital analytics and optimization strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience producing short-form video for TikTok and Reels.
  • Understanding of digital advertising fundamentals (search, display, retargeting).
  • Experience with brands that operate on strong seasonal cycles.
  • Familiarity with greeting card, stationery, or gift categories.

Pay: $49,282.79 - $62,000.00 per year
