A digital marketer is responsible for developing and managing online marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads. The role typically involves a blend of creative content production and technical data analysis across multiple channels such as social media, search engines, and email. Core Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns across SEO, SEM, social media, and email.
  • Content Creation: Write and curate engaging copy, images, and videos for websites, blogs, and social media platforms.
  • Performance Analysis: Use tools like Google Analytics (GA4) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROI, conversion rates, and bounce rates.
  • SEO & SEM: Conduct keyword research and optimize website content to improve organic search rankings and manage paid advertising (PPC) budgets.
  • Social Media Management: Manage company profiles on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok to foster community engagement.
  • Email Marketing: Design and distribute newsletters and promotional offers to nurture existing customers and attract new ones.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO/SEM, website analytics, and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Hootsuite).
  • Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, creative problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Education: Typically a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications from Google Ads, HubSpot, or Meta are often required or highly preferred.
