Digital Marketing Specialist

Timberlyne, a designer and manufacturer of barns, homes, and commercial structures, is seeking an experienced digital editor to join its marketing team. This position is ideal for an innovative, organized, and detail-oriented individual with at least three years of experience in digital editorial work.

The candidate should be comfortable with analytics, audience engagement, and content marketing strategies. Proficiency in editing online content, posting to social media, and writing for both digital and print media is a requirement. As a contentdigital specialist, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and updating our online presence; and collaborate on campaign planning and content strategy. This position is essential for ensuring that timely, accurate, and engaging content reaches our specialized audience across multiple digital platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Website Content Updating

• Editing and posting content to our website(s), including text, project photos, videos, new products, careers, and more.

Social Media Editing

• Scheduling and posting content regularly to social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube), monitoring comments and messages and tracking analytics.

Email Marketing Support

• Create emails, templates, and strategize using our email marketing service provider, Pardot (Salesforce). Any experience in a similar provider, such as Constant Contact or Mailchimp, would be suitable.

Document Creation/Management

• This position is not a full-time graphic design role. Still, it requires the ability to edit text in already designed documents in Photoshop or InDesign to support internal documents, business cards, and advertisements.

ResearchWriting

• Ability to draft written summaries of completed barn, home, or commercial projects. Researching partners and projects to stay up to date on progress. Assist in writing or proofreading internal news and announcements.

Qualifications

Education: Degree in Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in digital editing, with a proven track record of successfully increasing traffic on website, social, or email.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of digital platforms, including website management platforms, email marketing platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media services.

Content Management System: Proficiency in using Craft CMS, or similar website management platforms for content creation, optimization, redirects, and overall site management.

Adaptive to Emerging Technologies: Strong interest in applying new technology to elevate digital strategy and improve workflow efficiency.

CommunicationProblem-Solving Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong initiative for identifying errors or challenges and providing effective solutions. Must be comfortable communicating internally through in-personal meetings, phone calls, and email, as well as engaging via digital meetings.

Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating to achieve common goals.
