Digital Marketing Specialist

Overview

Scalemill (www.scalemill.com) helps technology companies increase revenue and reduce costs by setting up offsite inside sales, support and customer success teams that handle customer interactions. We exclusively work with B2B (Business-to-Business) SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) products and specialize in lead generation and appointment-setting.

Role

This role focuses on social media engagement, digital content creation and brand visibility. We’re seeking a proactive and creative individual to plan, implement, execute and manage the company's overall digital marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate will actively engage with relevant industry content to increase brand visibility, create short-form content (reels, posts, visuals) and support event coverage through photos and videos. You’ll work closely with the growth and marketing team to maintain a consistent and professional brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Monitoring & Engagement

  • Design marketing campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other relevant platforms
  • Monitor trends in social media and digital marketing
  • Coordinate with design teams to generate quality social media collateral
  • Optimize marketing material for search engines and social media algorithms
  • Actively engage through thoughtful, value-driven comments to increase Scalemill’s visibility
  • Identify strategic opportunities to participate in discussions and strengthen brand awareness
  • Brainstorm ideas for social media calendars
  • Analyze web traffic metrics and suggest solutions to boost online presence

Email Marketing & Campaigns

  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including promotional emails and newsletters aligned with marketing goals and audience segmentation
  • Maintain email databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Case Studies, Success Stories & Customer Insights

  • Create compelling case studies and success stories showcasing client achievements
  • Conduct customer interviews to translate customer experiences into engaging content for marketing
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and insights for impactful storytelling

Content Creation

  • Create short- and long-form content, including reels, videos, graphics and event posts
  • Design web pages, presentations, collateral, brochures, POVs, signs/banners, ads, newsletters and other marketing material
  • Create campaign-based content aligned with marketing objectives
  • Contribute creative ideas for storytelling across social media content
  • Ensure social media marketing calendars are timely created, delivered, approved and scheduled

Event Coverage & Multimedia

  • Capture photos and videos during internal events, workshops and ceremonies
  • Handle editing and post-production of content
  • Ensure all visual content aligns with our brand guidelines

Brand Consistency & Presence

  • Maintain a consistent, professional brand voice across all platforms
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on creative and promotional initiatives
  • Ensure timely posting and proper formatting of content

Trends & Performance Awareness

  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools and best practices
  • Suggest ideas to improve engagement and reach
  • Monitor performance tracking and reporting when required

Skills needed

  • Communication: excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Organization: strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively
  • Time management: strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail: accuracy in handling tasks and documents is critical
  • Professionalism & discretion: maintaining high standards of professionalism and handling sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
  • Good understanding of LinkedIn engagement and B2B social media dynamics
  • Familiarity with Reddit communities and online discussion platforms
  • Ability to write thoughtful, value-driven comments

Technology

  • Proven experience in handling MailChimp, PowerBI, Freshsales, CRM/ERP and dashboards
  • This role requires someone comfortable with basic technology like computers, smartphones and common software used in offices
  • Comfortable with using online messaging tools like WhatsApp, Google Chat, etc.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, like Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides
  • Familiarity with task management apps such as TickTick

Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a similar subject
  • Fluent English (written and verbal) is essential
  • At least 1 or 2 years of proven experience in a related role
