The Media Captain is looking for a part-time digital marketing specialist to join our award winning agency. This position is fully-remote. We are looking for someone for 15-hours per week (with the opportunity to add additional hours) and the pay is $65/hour.

What we are seeking: Someone with at least 5-years of experience that has a strong understanding of SEO, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and email marketing. This candidate must have experience either in-house or working for a prior agency. You must have a proven track record and the ability to showcase key wins at your past job.

Account Management: This candidate will be responsible for overseeing client accounts. Many of our clients sign-up for a blended marketing strategy which includes SEO, Paid Ads, Social Media and Email. It's important to be able to converse at a high-level on all of these topics with your clients. You will have monthly meetings, review their strategy and ensure we're hitting on key deliverables.

Expectations During Interview: We look forward to getting to know you and learning about your experience. In the interview, we will walk through your strengths and weaknesses in different areas of digital marketing. If we're pleased with the first round of interviews, we will assign you a paid marketing task to complete that would replicate something similar to what a strategist would have to put together for a client. NOTE: We will not consider candidates who do not answer our screener questions.

What We're Not Looking For: If you're looking for a cookie cutter, structured day that's not everchanging, this won't be the position for you. Our process is constantly evolving, so we're looking for someone flexible and open-minded to adapting to those changes. Our owners are involved in the day to day of the company, which means you'll get recognized for your accomplishments and be heard with new ideas to improve processes. Conversely, you won't be able to fly under the radar. There's a steep learning curve at the beginning that takes 2-3 months to fully grasp.

Responsibilities & Skills Needed

  • Knowledgeable on SEO, Paid Ads (Google and Facebook) and Email Marketing
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to provide high level critical thinking
  • Create and launch paid advertising strategies from scratch
  • Expertise on Google and Bing Ads (PPC, Shopping, Display & Tracking)
  • Expertise on Facebook Business Manager
  • Expertise on SEO Strategy Development & Execution
  • Keyword research, copywriting, imagery selection
  • Handle day-to-day communication with clients
  • Handle day-to-day communication internally with our team
  • Strong knowledge on Google Analytics and Search Console
  • BS/BA in marketing or relevant field
