The Digital Marketing Strategist will lead digital initiatives to strengthen brand visibility, improve lead quality, and support admissions growth. This role requires experience in the education/training industry, content strategy expertise, strong coordination with editing/design teams, and hands-on management of social media, YouTube, and podcast channels.
Key Responsibilities1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop digital marketing strategies aligned with admission and brand goals.
- Plan monthly & quarterly campaign calendars.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to refine positioning.
2. Content Creation & Coordination
- Create content aligned with marketing goals, campaign themes, and social media needs.
- Collaborate with the editing and design teams for reels, videos, creatives, thumbnails, posters, and ads.
- Write scripts, captions, marketing copy, and course promotional materials.
3. Social Media & Ad Campaign Management
- Manage day-to-day posting and engagement across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Plan and run paid campaigns (Meta & Google Ads) to generate high-quality leads.
- Track analytics and optimize content and ads for better performance.
4. Lead Quality Monitoring & A/B Testing
- Conduct A/B testing on creatives, landing pages, captions, ads, and formats.
- Monitor lead quality and share insights with the sales team for improving conversions.
- Optimize targeting, messaging, and platforms to improve ROI.
5. Course Content Marketing
- Create marketing content for new and existing courses.
- Work with trainers/academic teams to understand course USP and convert them into promotional messaging.
6. YouTube & Podcast Management
- Plan and script educational and promotional video content.
- Coordinate recording, editing, uploading, SEO, and thumbnails.
- Manage podcast topics, scheduling, production flow, and distribution.
7. Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the sales team to align lead flow and messaging.
- Share weekly insights on campaign performance, audience behavior, and lead quality.
- Prepare monthly digital marketing performance reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, or related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in digital marketing (education sector preferred).
- Strong command of social media strategy, content planning, analytics, and advertising.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Canva/Figma, YouTube Studio, and CRM systems.
Skills Required
- Creative content strategy & strong writing skills.
- Data-driven approach to campaigns and targeting.
- Good understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC & A/B testing.
- Excellent coordination with design, editing, academic, and sales teams.
Experience in handling YouTube and podcast workflows.
