Position Location: GAVIN Communications / York, PA/Hybrid

Hours: Full-Time | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Scope: The Digital Marketing Strategist plays a crucial role in supporting the agency’s digital media marketing efforts. Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Marketing Strategy, this position will plan, execute, optimize, and report on digital campaigns to drive outcomes for the agency’s clients. The Digital Marketing Strategist stays up to date on digital marketing trends, ensuring that our efforts align and exceed performance with our client’s competitors.

Essential Functions

  • Demonstrates commitment to the FIRST Values of the organization through adherence to company policies.
  • Conducts audience research, competitive analysis, and market trend reporting to inform strategy.
  • Develop digital marketing strategies for client campaigns, including paid media, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Collaborates with creative, public relations, and account teams to ensure alignment between brand messaging, audience insights, and performance goals.
  • Prepares digital media cost estimates and revises as required.
  • Plans, executes, and manages paid media campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, and other relevant platforms.
  • Monitors campaign performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations through dashboards and reports.
  • Optimize campaigns based on KPIs such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, engagement, and conversion metrics.
  • Stays current on emerging digital trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh thinking to the team.
  • Presents strategy recommendations and performance reports directly to clients with clarity and confidence.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field is required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, data analysis, or a related role within an agency or similar environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Mailchimp, and marketing automation tools. Google Ads and GA4 certifications preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and present comprehensive reports for various client campaigns, showcasing key metrics, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Firm grasp of consumer behavior and market trends.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly operates a computer/laptop and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, computer printer, and phone system.
  • Needs to occasionally move around inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90 percent of the time.
  • Talking; especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas to others.
  • Will be required to have conversations by phone and in person with individuals and groups.
  • Works for long periods on a computer.
  • Must be able to ascend and descend stairs.
  • May be required to lift to 10 pounds routinely and up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • The environment is considered to contain low/medium noise levels.
  • The environment is not exposed to extreme changes in temperatures or weather conditions.
  • Additional hours of work as dictated by the needs of the business.
