At Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver (BGCMD), we believe every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their greatest potential. Our Marketing & Communications team makes sure that story gets told—through powerful content, creative design, and strategic digital outreach. We are looking for a Digital Media Manager to join our mission-driven team to continue elevating the voice of our Clubs, our members, and our community.

About the Role

The Digital Media Manager is a creative storyteller and strategic thinker who will shape and grow BGCMD’s online and community presence. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, you will lead content creation across our social media channels. This role requires strong graphic design and videography capabilities, a love for data-driven decision making, and the ability to juggle multiple projects while keeping our mission at the heart of every message.

You’ll collaborate across departments to create digital storytelling that supports fundraising, programming, and organizational goals. From shooting short videos for social media to developing branded event materials, your work will inspire engagement and build community awareness of BGCMD’s impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and manage an annual content and editorial calendar in collaboration with the Director of Marketing & Communications.

  • Align content strategies across channels to advance organizational goals and engage key audiences.

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Edit and design compelling content for digital platforms, including the website, email marketing, social media, events, and programs.

  • Create engaging short-form video and multimedia content for social media.

  • Guide and manage vendors in producing high-quality larger video projects to elevate the organization’s storytelling.

Brand Management & Design

  • Design branded materials for digital and print use, ensuring consistent and professional representation of the brand.

  • Maintain brand standards while encouraging creativity and mission-driven storytelling among staff.

Performance & Analytics

  • Monitor, measure, and report on content performance across all channels.

  • Use data and insights to refine strategies and maximize audience engagement.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of relevant work experience in paid positions, internships, or volunteer roles involving marketing, communications, or journalism preferably in a non-profit environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, HubSpot, WordPress, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Google Analytics/Ads
  • Strong portfolio of content creation (social media, graphics, videography, copywriting)

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Demonstrated skill in copy editing and proofreading.

Demonstrated skill in graphic design and execution.

Strong project management, time management, and organized capabilities with the ability to manage numerous competing priorities.

Self-directed, independent, strategic learner who appreciates collaboration.

Ability to assume accountability and ownership of projects from start to finish.

Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to develop strong relationships – both with BGCMD employees and Club members.


Conditions of Employment


The position requires passing criminal and driving records investigations, and reference checks.

The position must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured under the company's insurance policy.

The position will primarily work indoors. Accordingly, the ability to use a variety of equipment including janitorial and office equipment is required.

Some job duties require the ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, reach, bend, and lift objects weighing in excess of 25 lbs. Outdoor work and moderate physically demanding activities may be required on occasion.

Strong English proficiency is required for this position to ensure effective communication with staff, club members, and families, as well as to follow safety and procedural guidelines accurately.

Status: Full-time, Exempt

Salary: $53,333- $61,000

Hours: Monday -Friday; 40 hours/week
This position works primarily at the Program Support Center but may occasionally work from other BGCMD facilities as necessary. BGCMD employees may work from home one day per week between Tuesday through Thursday. All remote work and other flexible work arrangements must be approved prior to implementation.
