Digital Media Manager - Job Description
Location: Corporate Office / Remote HybridReports to: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Job Objective
The Digital Media Manager oversees the restaurant’s online presence, content creation, and digital marketing strategies. This role manages social media, website updates, email and SMS marketing, and tracks ROI using POS data. Working closely with leadership, the Digital Media Manager develops campaigns to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and online sales while maintaining brand consistency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Digital Marketing & Content Creation
- Develop and execute social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Create engaging photos, videos, graphics, and written content tailored for each platform.
- Plan and manage email and SMS marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement.
- Online Presence Management
- Update and maintain website content, menus, hours, and promotions including all directory sites (Google, Yelp, etc.)
- Monitor and respond to online reviews and customer inquiries across platforms.
- Ensure online ordering platforms are accurate and optimized.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Use POS data and analytics tools to track marketing ROI, campaign success, and audience engagement.
- Generate performance reports and adjust strategies based on insights.
- Collaboration & Brand Management
- Work with the COO, CMO, and restaurant managers to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms.
- Support event marketing and PR initiatives to boost customer engagement.
- Paid Ad Management & Community Engagement
- Manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Meta, Google, and others, under guidance from the CMO regarding budget and campaign goals.
- Monitor and respond to customer comments, reviews, and direct messages across social platforms.
- Help resolve online inquiries or complaints in coordination with leadership.
- Photography & Content Capture (As Needed)
- Capture original photo and video content on-site when needed.
- Coordinate with third-party photographers or videographers when external support is preferred.
- Maintain an organized archive of digital assets for brand use.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Submit monthly performance reports with key metrics, insights, and recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital best practices, including ADA compliance and content standards.
Job Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media preferred. 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, analytics, and basic SEO. Knowledge of photo and video editing software is a plus.
- Analytical & Creative Thinking: Ability to analyze digital performance data and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Communication & Organization: Strong writing and communication skills, with attention to detail and time management.
Teamwork & Adaptability: Works well independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Pay: $37,440.00 - $47,840.00 per year
