Compensation: $15–$20/hour, negotiable

Schedule: Part-time

Travel: Required throughout the Greater Houston area

Overview
Our client is seeking an entry-level Digital Media Marketing Specialist who is passionate about storytelling, creativity, and digital content. This part-time hybrid role is perfect for someone looking to grow their marketing skills while supporting a community-focused brand.

You’ll help elevate the company’s digital presence by capturing field content, curating social media posts, maintaining online listings, and supporting marketing initiatives. If you're self-motivated, creative, and eager to learn, this is a great opportunity to develop hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and manage posts across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest)
  • Capture, film, and edit photo/video content from job sites
  • Edit images and curate content that aligns with brand style
  • Maintain and update Google Business Profile
  • Assist with blog writing and content publishing
  • Support coordination and promotion of community/educational events
  • Communicate with website host for basic troubleshooting and updates (no coding needed)
  • Participate in job site visits to capture digital content (reliable transportation required)

Required Qualifications

  • Interest in marketing, social media, and content creation
  • Basic understanding of marketing design principles
  • Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or similar editing tools
  • Strong visual and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and explore new marketing trends
  • Reliable, positive attitude with good time-management skills
  • Comfortable working remotely and on active job sites

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with WordPress
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics and Google Ads
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp)
  • Understanding of SEO/SEM fundamentals
  • Previous internship or freelance experience
  • Experience using CRM tools

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in outdoor and construction environments
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs (camera equipment, tripod, etc.)
  • Exposure to loud noise and varying weather conditions
  • Must be able to travel throughout Greater Houston (mileage reimbursed per policy)
