Digital Media Specialist

Right Way K9 Training is seeking a motivated and creative Digital Media Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing our social media channels, creating and editing engaging photo and video content, and helping communicate our brand and mission online.

The ideal candidate is passionate about dogs, understands social media trends, and has strong photography, videography, and editing skills. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role based on performance and results.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photos and videos of dogs, training sessions, daycare, and client interactions that reflect the Right Way K9 Training brand
• Edit photos and videos for use on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
• Create and schedule posts across all social media channels to maintain a consistent and engaging presence
• Collaborate with the owner and team to develop creative ideas for social media campaigns, educational posts, and seasonal promotions
• Monitor engagement metrics, track performance, and adapt strategies to increase reach and audience growth
• Maintain an organized content library and ensure timely posting aligned with business goals

Qualifications

• Strong photography and video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar software
• Knowledge of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
• Comfortable working around dogs in a training and daycare environment
• Flexible schedule with occasional weekend or evening availability for special events or shoots

Compensation and Hours
This position begins as part-time with potential for advancement to full-time based on performance and results. Pay is commensurate with experience.
