Job Overview

As the Digital Media Strategist at Skylink Distribution (Private) Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s complete digital media portfolio. This includes developing strategic digital marketing plans, conceptualizing and executing creative campaigns, managing the posting calendar, crafting compelling content, and strengthening the organization’s digital presence. You will also monitor market trends, analyze performance data, and respond to leads across all digital platforms.

In this role, you will work closely with a dynamic team committed to modern marketing practices, digital innovation, and event-related media strategies. The position is primarily based at the Head Office, with occasional travel to client sites when required.

What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)

  • Plan, implement, and monitor digital marketing campaigns across all online channels.
  • Track and analyze key online marketing metrics to evaluate campaign performance.
  • Prepare accurate performance reports for ongoing and completed campaigns.
  • Use SEO techniques and targeted keywords to drive traffic across the website and social media platforms.
  • Design and manage all aspects of the digital marketing function, including the marketing database, email outreach, and display advertising.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies impacting the digital landscape.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze digital data to recommend website and content optimization strategies.
  • Evaluate crucial metrics related to website traffic, service leads, and audience engagement.
  • Conduct social media audits to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Brainstorm innovative and growth-focused marketing strategies with the team.
  • Manage and execute digital contests, giveaways, and platform-based engagements.
  • Maintain and update the organization’s website in alignment with best UX and content practices.
  • Optimize website and social media content for maximum reach and engagement.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital channels.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing support for internal and external events, including media coverage, live content, and post-event digital promotion.

Requirements

What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)

  • A digital professional equipped with strong analytical and creative thinking abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification required.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing the complete digital presence of an organization.
  • Prior experience working with a digital agency will be considered an added advantage.
  • Experience in event marketing, media coverage planning, and execution for internal and external events.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, digital analytics, content creation, and social media strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, handle deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced marketing environments.
