POSITION SUMMARY:

Serve as production planner for digital print projects and act as liaison between client or Project Manager and Digital Production staff.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take ownership of Digital Print Projects throughout the planning process
• Plan Digital Print Projects for cost-effective and timely production
• Produce Job Tickets, Shipping Lists, Stock Request Forms, Packing Lists, In-Process Verification Sheets and other forms necessary for successful production of Digital Print Projects
• Complete Estimates for live jobs when needed and assist Estimator when necessary on quotes for possible jobs
• Complete Request for Schedule Forms for submission to Scheduler and provide timing information to relevant parties (sales, Project Manager, etc.)
• Work with Purchasing to obtain materials, hardware, etc. for projects
• Assist management with any projects or tasks as needed

PERSONAL POSITION ATTRIBUTES:

Must be excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing. Must have judgment and organizational skills and must possess strong people skills and ability to work in a team setting.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Associates degree or equivalent work experience required as well as minimum of 5 years experience in digital print and a thorough knowledge of digital printing and finishing technologies and principles. A solid working knowledge of the printing process is required.
