Role Purpose
The Digital Printing Shop Branch Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of digital printing operations. The role includes managing staff, equipment, materials, and schedules to meet client deadlines and maintain high-quality output. The manager also oversees sales operations, both in-store and online, ensuring excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and cost control.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
General
Production Management:
· Oversee all aspects of the digital printing process, including large-format printing, vinyl cutting, laminating, and finishing.
· Ensure efficient workflow, job scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production targets.
Quality Control:
· Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure production of high-quality printed materials.
· Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve quality issues.
Equipment Maintenance:
· Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
· Maintain an inventory of consumables and reorder supplies as needed.
Team Leadership:
· Hire, train, and supervise production staff including operators and technicians.
· Set performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations.
Safety Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
· Provide safety training for all staff.
· Oversee daily branch cleaning and maintenance standards.
Client Communication:
· Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to understand project specifications.
· Handle walk-in, offline, and online customers effectively.
Cost Management:
· Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
· Control wastage and ensure optimal resource use.
Technology Integration:
· Stay current with digital printing advancements.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology upgrades
BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Printing Management).
· Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in the digital printing industry.
· Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and CorelDRAW.
· Strong Arabic and English typing and communication skills.
· Expertise in operating a range of printing machines (e.g., Mimaki, Epson, HP).
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and internet tools.
· Proven leadership and production management experience.
· Knowledge of printing techniques, media types, and quality control standards.
