Role Overview
The Digital Transformation Consultant will work with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to identify opportunities for digitization, implement modern technologies, and enable growth through efficiency, productivity, and innovation. The role involves assessing digital readiness, creating transformation roadmaps, and ensuring adoption of tools such as automation, Industry 4.0 technologies, AI, data analytics, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment & Strategy
- Conduct digital readiness assessments for MSMEs.
- Identify business process gaps and opportunities for digital interventions.
- Develop digital transformation roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Advise on cost-effective, scalable technology solutions suitable for MSMEs.
- Technology Implementation
- Support adoption of ERP, CRM, accounting software, e-commerce platforms, and supply chain solutions.
- Guide MSMEs in using automation, IoT, AI/ML, data analytics, and cloud-based solutions.
- Recommend cybersecurity practices and digital compliance measures.
- Capacity Building
- Train MSME owners and workforce on digital tools and processes.
- Build awareness around Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and digital marketing.
- Support change management and workforce digital upskilling.
- Process Optimization
- Redesign workflows for efficiency using lean and digital practices.
- Introduce data-driven decision-making models.
- Help MSMEs leverage digital tools for cost reduction, market expansion, and customer experience enhancement.
- Ecosystem Engagement
- Collaborate with government schemes (RAMP, PM Gati Shakti, PMKVY 4.0, SC/ST Hub, etc.).
- Connect MSMEs with digital solution providers, financial institutions, and skill development programs.
- Benchmark MSMEs against industry best practices.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of MSME ecosystem and challenges.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, cloud, ERP/CRM, AI/ML, IoT, and e-commerce platforms.
- Skills in business process reengineering and digital project management.
- Familiarity with MSME government policies and digitalization incentives.
- Strong communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical ability to convert data insights into business recommendations.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering / IT / Management / Business Analytics.
- Certifications in Digital Transformation, Industry 4.0, AI, or Cloud Solutions preferred.
Experience
- 5–10 years in consulting, IT, manufacturing, or business transformation.
- Experience working with MSMEs or SME-focused technology projects.
Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Pay: ₹554,059.23 - ₹2,022,785.79 per year
