Dining Services Supervisor

Full time mid day shift

$20-$26/hr (Based on exp)

Broadmead is seeking a dedicated and service‑focused Dining Services Supervisor to support exceptional dining experiences in our Holly Terrace and Magnolia Room venues. In this role, you will help create a warm, welcoming environment where residents, guests, and team members feel respected and cared for.

What You'll Do

As the Dining Services Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring high‑quality dining operations and fostering a positive community atmosphere. Key responsibilities include:

Leadership & Training

  • Hire, train, and schedule full‑time and part‑time team members.
  • Lead and develop staff in American‑style service techniques.
  • Conduct daily team meetings to ensure clarity, teamwork, and readiness.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to support a culture of respect, friendliness, and service excellence.

Dining Operations

  • Oversee daily dining service in the Holly Terrace and Magnolia Room to ensure a warm, hospitable experience for residents and guests.
  • Open and/or close dining operations as needed; serve as Host/Hostess when required.
  • Ensure dining spaces—including Holly Terrace, Magnolia Room, and BPU—are clean, safe, and inviting.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and appropriate stock levels for food and beverage supplies.
  • Address shift-related challenges and assist with day‑to‑day problem solving.

Compliance & Administration

  • Maintain adherence to Federal, State, and County food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure proper food handling techniques and overall regulatory compliance.
  • Complete administrative duties accurately, including credit card processing, communication follow‑up, and schedule adjustments.
  • Complete all onboarding steps and departmental certified training programs.

Community & Customer Service

  • Build positive relationships with residents, guests, and team members.
  • Promote exceptional internal customer service aligned with Broadmead's mission.
  • Ensure every interaction reflects Broadmead's Quaker‑based commitments to respect, integrity, and service.

What You Bring

We'd love to meet you if you have:

  • SERV Safe Certification (preferred).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of supervisory practices and food safety procedures.
  • Understanding of dining service steps, including cordial guest communication.
  • Basic knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
  • Ability to follow instructions, lead others, and build positive rapport with residents and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to set daily priorities.
  • Experience with software and digital tools including email, Word, FullCount (POS), and UKG.
  • Two years of college or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience—experience working with young people in a similar setting is preferred.
