Cheri Rooftop is looking for dinner cooks to help our expanding business.
Duties
- Prepare and cook dinner dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist with menu planning by contributing creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability for nightly specials.
- Handle food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and organizing ingredients efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Support food service operations by plating dishes attractively and ensuring timely delivery to guests or dining areas.
- Manage food handling responsibilities with precision, including proper storage, temperature control, and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow during busy dinner hours while maintaining a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations within the food industry.
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods used in fine dining or restaurant settings.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak dinner service times while maintaining attention to detail.
