Job Summary

Acts as the head of the hotel’s food and beverage sales department and manages both proactive and reactive catering sales efforts. Shares responsibility for achieving revenue goals, guest and employee satisfaction, and departmental financial performance. Implements brand service strategies and applicable brand initiatives across all aspects of the sales process. Provides daily leadership for the hotel’s catering sales team.

Collaborates with key stakeholders in the area sales office to receive sales leads and qualify deeper business opportunities for the hotel. Works with event management and hotel operations to sell products and services that the hotel can successfully execute. Ensures a seamless transition from sales to operations and back to sales, consistently delivering high-quality service. Maintains accountability by ensuring the team maximizes revenue opportunities through upselling all events and accurately forecasting revenue (such as catering and group rooms)
