Job Overview:

The Director of Program Development and Innovation plays a critical role in advancing the organizations mission by leading the development of innovative programs and services and promoting a data driven culture. This individual serves as a strategic partner to the Executive Director and Clubhouse team members to develop and achieve plans for financial performance, clinical quality, service excellence, and clubhouse member centered priorities. The Director of Program Development and Innovation is accountable for achieving organizational goals related to programs in quality, finance cost efficiency, engagement, Clubhouse member satisfaction and research,

Qualifications:

  • MS in health related field,
  • At least 5 years of experience in a nonprofit organization serving people with disabilities,
  • At least 2 years of experience working with adults with brain injury,
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience,
  • Deep knowledge and experience with Epic
  • Basic Life Support, BLS, certification required,
  • Certified Brain Injury Specialist, CBIS, preferred,
  • Valid NJ drivers license and clean driving record required,
  • Valid occupational health license such as PT, OT, SLP, LCSW, etc,

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain new Clubhouse members, expand outreach efforts, and create targeted programs for the community,
  • Collaborate in marketing and communications to help drive awareness of organization and its services to grow membership,
  • Identify, create and implement innovative solutions for individuals with brain injuries
  • Promote and incorporate the use of data and analytics to guide program development and innovation,
  • Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and improvement within the therapy department
  • Oversee the collection and management of data related to programs and services,
  • Ensure the availability of accurate and relevant information for analysis,
  • Collaborate with data analysts or specialists to support data and analytics efforts,
  • Obtain research opportunities and promote evidence-based practices in brain injury rehabilitation,
  • Oversee the development and implementation of all clinical operation policies and procedures; ensures that these policies are uniformly understood, properly interpreted, and administered,
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory policies, procedures and guidelines and consistency with other administrative and clinical Operations at other outpatient facilities across CSH and RWJBH,
  • Responsible for the efficient utilization of all Clubhouse programmatic space, ensures that clinic equipment is maintained in optimal condition
  • Understand, articulate and ensure compliance with Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and other policies to the organization,
  • Responsible for development and adherence to operating and capital budget allocation in all areas of direct oversight,
  • Analyze financial statements and manage financial resources effectively to ensure to achieving budget expectations and beyond,
  • Measure and analyze performance from learning, growth, business, process, customer and financial perspectives,
  • Provide input and support in program planning and program growth that meets organizational and Clubhouse members needs in a cost effective manner,
  • Partner in philanthropy to help advance program development and growth,
  • Responsible for optimizing Clubhouse member experience, inclusive of frequent checkins of caregivers and team members,
