Position SummaryPerforms highly advanced (senior-level) systems administration work. Work involves but is not limited to analyzing and assisting management in planning, budgeting, defining specific equipment requirements, installation, and configuration of software, solving technical problems of a moderate to complex nature and working with customers in establishing and maintaining services. Manages multiple tasks of varying complexity and priority for timely completion. May specialize in two or three narrowly defined areas such as Virtual System Administration, Operating Systems, DNS, Firewall, and Security systems. Works under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Occasional bending, stooping, lifting, and climbing.
