Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with disabilities and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in their care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering direct support and ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
- Assist clients with mobility and daily living activities.
- Implement behavior management strategies as needed to support clients effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
- Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere for clients through companionship and social interaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration and meal preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with behavior management practices is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities in various settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not required at the time of hire; training may be provided.
