Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Route Sales Specialist — Manchester, NH

Step into a role where each morning starts before sunrise and ends with customers who count on you. You’ll own a defined route, operate a 26' box truck safely, and make sure products arrive on time, in great shape, and with accurate paperwork. As our business grows, so does the opportunity for you to make an impact.

A day in the life

You arrive early, complete your pre-trip inspection, review your route book, and load product with care. By daybreak, you’re on the road—meeting with account contacts, confirming inventories, rotating stock, checking for any stains or damage, and capturing invoices accurately. Throughout your route, you keep an eye on efficiency and revenue, communicate any truck maintenance needs, and ensure each stop receives attentive customer service. Back at the end of your shift, you reconcile paperwork, update inventory, and plan for tomorrow.

What you’ll do

• Manage an assigned route to maximize efficiency, productivity, and revenue
• Oversee load-outs, on-hand inventories, and product quality (including stains/damage)
• Load and unload the truck; organize products; complete invoices and inventory; maintain route books
• Handle truck upkeep: communicate repairs promptly, follow preventative maintenance, and report accidents
• Work directly with customers to deliver great service and maintain inventory and quality control standards

Schedule

Typical Monday–Friday with an early start (around 4:00 a.m.) and afternoon finish (about 2:00 p.m.). Actual hours may vary by route and business need.

Minimum qualifications

• Ability to operate a commercial motor vehicle (26-foot box truck) for up to 10 hours per day
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to frequently lift 25 pounds

Preferred qualifications

• 3+ years of professional driving experience
• Strong sense of direction and knowledge of the local area
• Professional appearance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
