Overview
Embracing Hearts Healthcare is an agency in Mississippi that provides services through the Mississippi IDD Waiver. This is a Medicaid waiver for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. What our agency does is go in and provide in home respite and community support services to these individuals.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide patient care and support in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Support clients in social interactions and community engagement activities.
• Document client progress and any incidents accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in patient observation to ensure safety and well-being at all times.

Skills

• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other developmental disabilities.
• Strong patient monitoring skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting when required.
• Knowledge of caregiving techniques, including meal preparation and cleaning tasks.
• Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them diligently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.

Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
