Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism.
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Implement individualized support plans and behavior management strategies.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for individuals in their homes or community settings.
- Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, activities, and outings.
- Document and report any significant changes in behavior or health to appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals, including social workers, nurses, and therapists.

Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a related field such as childcare or social work.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals who may require assistance (up to 50 pounds).
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
