What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our residential program, you won’t just clock in and out — you'll become part of someone’s support system.
Your role is to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living life their way. That could mean:

• Assisting with daily routines (like meals, meds, and personal care)
• Supporting goals, from job readiness to social skills
• Planning fun outings or helping someone master a new recipe
• Celebrating big and small victories side-by-side
• Documenting care and progress in our easy-to-use system

In this role, you will:

• Work in a 24/7 residential environment, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Support individuals with personal care, including bathing, toileting, lifting, and mobility assistance
• Navigate behaviors and emotional moments with patience and professionalism
• Balance fun, relationship-building moments with structure, routines, and documentation
• Stay attentive and engaged throughout your shift — this is not a sit-down or “easy” job
• Follow state regulations and agency policies while still providing warm, person-centered support

What You Need

• A heart for people and a belief in inclusion
• High school diploma or GED
• Driver’s license
• Ability to complete training (CPR, Medication Admin, etc.) – we’ll help you
• Ability to obtain federal and state clearances
• Experience is great, but not required — we’ll train the right person
