Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver
Location: Frederick Maryland
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Shift: Monday - Friday 7AM-3PM

Job Summary

Impact Support Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The ideal candidate must have experience working with individuals who exhibit behavioral challenges and be comfortable implementing behavior support strategies.

Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to individuals in a residential/home setting
• Implement Behavior Support Plans as written
• Support individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist with community outings and engagement activities
• Document daily progress notes and incident reports accurately
• Administer medications (if certified)
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges (required)
• Experience in residential or developmental disability setting (preferred)
• Spanish speaking (preferred)
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• CPR/First Aid (required)

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
