Director

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Director to lead our childcare organization in delivering nuturing services to children. The ideal candidate will possess leadership abilities, an understanding of childcare requirements , and a passion for fostering relationships within the community.

Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with stakeholders, including families, Wolverine Den Board, and government agencies.
• Develop and monitor weekly staff schedules to ensure child/staff ratio maintained
• Supervise and mentor staff, promoting professional development and adherence to best practices in service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Required to complete Mandatory Reporting, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and First Aid training
• Manages billing and payroll function.
• Communicate effectively with parents and Den Board members regarding issues, concerns or day to day operations

Experience

• 2 year college degree or equivalent work experience to a degree.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and administrative tasks efficiently.
• Supervisory experience, including staff training.
• Proven communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport and trust.
