JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the EVP, Chief Financial Officer, the Chief of Staff (Director, Administration) is a strategic partner and force multiplier, driving operational excellence, organizational alignment, and execution of the CFO’s agenda across Finance and Care Coverage Divisions for Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Champions collaboration across Finance, Operations, Care Coverage, and other enterprise functions, breaking down silos and fostering a culture of shared accountability for strategic initiatives and business outcomes.
- Project & Program Management: Leads and orchestrates complex, multi-disciplinary projects and transformation initiatives, applying advanced project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery, resource optimization, and alignment with enterprise priorities.
- Scaling the CFO’s Impact: Acts as an extension of the CFO, amplifying executive capacity by managing priorities, driving execution, and ensuring the CFO’s strategic vision is translated into actionable plans and measurable results throughout the organization.
- Board Committee Support: Owns the end-to-end process for Finance & Investment Committee of the Board preparation, including agenda development, materials creation, and coordination of executive presentations, ensuring clarity, rigor, and alignment with governance standards.
- Executive Decision Support: Synthesizes complex financial, operational, and market intelligence to inform CFO-level decisions, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Operational Agility & Change Management: Champions process improvement, digital transformation, and adoption of best practices to enhance agility, efficiency, and earnings quality across finance operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitates communication and collaboration among senior leaders, regional CFOs, and external partners, representing the CFO’s office in high-impact forums and ensuring clarity of strategic messaging.
- Resource Stewardship: Oversees resource planning, budget management, and vendor integration, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization in support of organizational goals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- 5 years of experience
