Director Airline Development

Job Purpose

Leads airline acquisition, route development, and incentive structuring in alignment with network strategy and national connectivity objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop airline and route development strategies and annual plans

• Lead commercial negotiations for new routes and airline entry

• Structure and recommend route incentive proposals for approval

• Coordinate with tourism and government stakeholders on connectivity initiatives

• Oversee route launch performance monitoring and post-launch reviews

Experience Requirements

12–15 years’ experience in airline network planning, route development, or airport airline development roles.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Economics, or Business; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
