The Team You Will Join
The Director – API Product Management sits at the intersection of customer experience, business strategy, and technology within MetLife. This role leads the API Product Team and by extension the API Data Exchange ART to deliver API integrations with leading HR technology firms. The team’s core mission is to identify and execute opportunities for improved customer experience empowered through deep integrations with third parties to deliver solutions that are desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the MetLife US Group Benefits organization and with leading technology companies to build connectivity for the future.
The Opportunity
The Director – API Product Manager is accountable for understanding stakeholder needs, translating them into impactful solutions, and maintaining the API Data Exchange roadmap. This role will listen to the market, staying current on industry trends and using that knowledge to guide our near- and long-term roadmap. This role will lead Product for the API Data Exchange ART working with leading HR Technology companies to build API connectivity to provide superior experiences to our mutual customers. This role will manage the Product Owners and Business Solution Architects for the API Data Exchange ART, working closely with our IT partners to deliver business value.
