Here's a summary of responsibilities:
Team USA is seeking a strategic leader to develop, package, and elevate high-impact initiatives that advance organizational priorities and attract both corporate and philanthropic investment. This role leads the development of investable assets and integrated marketing platforms, crafts compelling value narratives, and equips cross-functional teams with tools that support revenue generation and organizational impact. The leader will build strong internal and external partnerships, ensure initiatives are operationally sound and investment-ready, and oversee impact measurement, reporting, and continuous improvement while guiding and developing a high-performing team.
Here’s how you’ll have an impact:Asset Development & Impact Design:-
Lead the end-to-end process of identifying, designing, and packaging new or expanded high-impact initiatives that reflect USOPC priorities across athlete excellence, sport advancement, and community growth impact pillars.

Develop and evolve a portfolio of investable assets and initiatives that advance USOPC priorities and are tailored for both philanthropic and corporate audiences.

Act as conduit between programmatic leads and revenue-generating teams, ensuring packaged initiatives are operationally feasible, aligned with the organization’s mission, and designed for long-term impact.

Ensure each initiative is tailored for investment readiness, clearly articulating goals, outcomes, and funder-aligned narratives for both philanthropic and corporate audiences.

Partner with LA28 and UT34 to identify opportunities for collaboration, program integration with Team USA, and joint revenue generation.

Serve as a strategic thought partner to internal teams, guiding the framing of initiatives early in development to ensure alignment with external investment trends. Build deep, trusted partnerships across the organization to surface organizational needs and translate them into strategic opportunities.

Drive continuous improvement by monitoring market insights, funder trends, and performance data to inform new asset creation.
Value Articulation & Sales Enablement:-
Articulate the measurable value of assets and initiatives, blending data, insights, and business impact to create compelling investment cases.

Equip Development, Marketing, and Partnership teams with compelling investment cases, messaging tools, and initiative overviews to support cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.

Maintain a centralized pipeline of initiatives, including status, P&L modeling, and value delivery frameworks.

Develop and package narratives, presentations, proposals, and other sales materials that communicate valuable, compelling, and actionable opportunities for corporate and philanthropic investment.

Lead the impact storytelling of programs, including campaign performance reporting and value delivery summaries, to demonstrate overall and individual impact to key stakeholders (i.e., sponsors, IPC, IOC, NBC, colleges, NGBs, Team USA athletes, etc.).

Develop and deliver value impact updates, such as individual stakeholder progress reports, KPI dashboards, program recaps, and business reviews during key moments (i.e., partners summit, NGB best practices, and/or other appropriate forums) to demonstrate value and seek feedback for future program development and partnerships.
Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Support:-
Build trusted relationships with external partners across USOPP, LA28, UT34, NGBs, NBC, and others to co-create assets and platforms, and incorporate feedback into improvements.

Lead relationships and deliverables with strategy, media, and sponsorship valuation agency partners.

Manage contracts, facilitate rights acquisition, and ensure compliance with deal terms for third parties, including partners, NGBs, and other key stakeholders. Oversee contract development, execution, and payments with Legal and Finance to ensure compliance with USOPC guidelines. Develop guidelines and ensure enforcement of agreed-upon standards.

Identify partnership opportunities to bolster commercial and philanthropic programs, lead co-creation workshops to align interests, and manage stakeholder working groups that inspire collective action.

Foster key relationships to optimize commercial and philanthropic opportunities and ensure stakeholder satisfaction. Provide onboarding and education to new stakeholders and partners to ensure their understanding of the overall landscape and expectations for their contribution.

Align key external stakeholders (USOPP, NGBs, NCAA, etc.) and internal functions (Development, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Sport & Athlete Services, etc.) to ensure a smooth transition to the Commercial Integration lead(s) to ensure all agreed-upon programs are executed effectively. Drive documentation of deliverable commitments and ensure assets required by third parties are delivered in scope and on time as promised.
Measurement, Reporting, & Optimization:-
Partner with internal teams to build tools that track, measure, and communicate impact across funded initiatives.

Synthesize data from multiple sources into insights that guide decision-making and future asset design.

Support continuous improvement by identifying efficiency gains and best practices across asset packaging, partnership delivery, and reporting processes.

Ensure consistency in messaging and performance metrics across all externally shared materials, aligning with brand and mission standards.
People Leadership & Skills Development:-
Identify the annual and quad key priorities and create consensus across stakeholders, then aid in narrowing the focus to drive action along an identified roadmap.

Lead the team, including hiring, mentoring, coaching, and motivating to maximize collective performance. Contribute to an atmosphere for outstanding teamwork through clear expectations, frequent communication, and providing fair and consistent feedback. Manage the performance of team members effectively.

Ensure teams flourish by pairing teammates’ competencies to resource needs and tapping into specialty skills and knowledge to deliver strategic and sustainable results.

Build and manage effective teams by balancing expectations and configuring available resources to meet demands.

Develop long-range staffing and project plans to accommodate effective and efficient delivery against expectations.
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
-
10+ years of experience in asset development, revenue generation, sponsorship, marketing strategy, or related field (property, brand, or agency).

Demonstrated success collaborating across departments and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
-
Experience with driving revenue growth and managing large-scale commercial projects.
-
Demonstrated leadership experience.
-
Experience within the Olympic & Paralympic movement or major sports/entertainment property preferred.

Proven track record delivering sponsorship assets and platforms that drive revenue growth and deliver measurable impact.
-
Strong background in storytelling through data; transforming insights into compelling narratives for executive and partner audiences.

Strong proficiency in budget management, including revenue and expense projections.
-
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholder and partners.
-
Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and develop teams.
-
Bias towards action and ability to think independently and make informed decisions.

Hiring pay range $112,500 - $143,000 per year

This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
-
Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 20% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
