Role Purpose:
To lead Health sector planning and reporting activities through overseeing the development of divisional plans, monitoring implementation progress, overseeing project management, and guiding reporting activities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES :
Planning and Budgeting :

Manage the development and execution of the team’s annual plan, budget, objectives and initiatives in line with Tawuniya’s strategic objectives and set KPIs
-
Supervise the function’s operations and activities within budget and contribute to the identification of strategies that result in a positive financial impact.
Sector Planning:

Keep abreast of Health insurance best practices, latest trends, and updated regulations while leveraging market research and benchmark analysis to incorporate in the planning cycle

Act as the focal point of contact for Strategy and Corporate Performance Office to receive established strategic directions and objectives

Lead cross-functional collaboration to collect requirements, inputs, challenges, and historical data from all Health divisions to initiate the planning cycle

Establish high-level objectives and targets to devise a shared Health and Life strategy in alignment with Tawuniya’s overall strategic direction

Oversee the cascading of sector strategy and plans to Health functions, and establish KPIs to track the implementation of the aforementioned plans

Support in integrating CX interventions in sectorial strategies and work closely with internal Health and Life functions to create cross functional teams

Oversee the provision of support for Health functional plans development and implementation to ensure compliance with sector strategy and Tawuniya’s overarching objectives
Sector Project Management :

Guide the development of project plans in coordination with Enterprise Portfolio Management Office to ensure alignment with overall portfolio and strategic initiatives

Lead the management of resources and the allocation of workforce across Health projects in coordination with Enterprise Portfolio Management Office to ensure prompt implementation of project plan

Evaluate consolidated project reports to assess project plan implementation and validate progress against pre-set targets and milestones

Lead the generation of reports pertaining to Health projects for Enterprise Portfolio Management Office

Oversee Health projects to identify emerging risks, deviations, improvement mechanisms and recommend corrective action plans to mitigate risks and enable improvement initiatives

Oversee archiving, documentation, and project closure activities including evaluations, and identification of improvements for next cycle in line with Enterprise Portfolio Management Office
QUALIFICATIONS :

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is required

A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
-
Minimum 7 years of experience in insurance field with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial position
