Overview
We are seeking a proven Director, Client Leadership to oversee integrated Omnicommerce campaigns for a high-profile brand. This role requires a deep understanding of traditional brand and shopper marketing, retail media, exceptional client management skills, and the ability to drive business growth.
Candidates must reside within commutable distance of Mars United Commerce's New York or Chicago location, as this role is hybrid 3 days a week.
Primary Responsibilities

Client Leadership: Serve as one of the primary points of contact between clients and Mars United Commerce. Forge and maintain trust-based relationships with mid-senior clients to secure long-term partnerships.

Business Planning: Build and deliver annual scopes of work for assigned brands and oversee the completion of contracted deliverables.

Strategic Planning: Oversee the development and implementation of strategic omnichannel marketing plans, including brand, consumer promotions, shopper marketing, and retail media, that meet or exceed client objectives and drive tangible business results.

Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of account managers/account executives, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Project Oversight: Ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Ensure the company product includes future-forward thinking anchored in business strategy and insights.

Financial Management: With VP, responsible for assigned P&Ls, forecasts, and overall client financial performance, ensuring profitability and efficiency via ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation and vendor management for assigned brands.

Business Development: Expand assigned business by identifying incremental business opportunities, contributing to the company’s overall growth and success.

Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field
-
Minimum 8 years experience in the CPG industry- with Tier 1 Manufacturers’ Marketing background and/or Shopper Marketing agency experience

Strong business acumen

Proven team leader with experience managing teams of 2 or more individuals

Compensation Range: $119,510- $188,025 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
