What You Will Do
- Identify, develop and manage client opportunities, ensuring engagement work products and deliverables are of the highest quality to ensure client delight.
- Direct the technical, business, and personnel aspects of consulting engagements and lead sales efforts with existing and prospective clients.
- Apply strategic consulting expertise in the areas of purchasing, supply chain management, business process outsourcing and technology to advance the company and your career.
- Direct and manage the overall and day-to-day business and technical components of client projects from data collection to presentation of final deliverables.
- Assist with Sales & Business Development activities.
- Work with senior management to develop selling tools for key clients.
- Manage relationships with clients, maintaining frequent and direct contact with CXO executives to provide flawless service.
- Identify, define, develop and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiency, mitigate risk, resolve issues and achieve cost savings for GEP and our clients.
- Generate and manage revenue with P&L responsibility.
- Share in client, practice and performance management including project team management and the development of our team.
- Monitor and direct others to act in accordance with company initiatives, processes and methodology.
What You Should Bring
- 8+ years relevant work experience in a management consulting firm with a minimum of two years recent similar expertise in sourcing and procurement.
- Big 5 consulting experience highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of consulting engagements with proven track record.
- Strong project/program management skills.
- Strong customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate clients and employees, excellent oral and written communication & analytical skills, leadership skills, self-motivation.
- Must be flexible to travel up to 30%.
- Should have a very strong academic record with a BA or BS from a top tier school.
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint & Excel (ability to create formulae & to analyze data is required).
