The Team
A&M Corporate Finance is a growing global business with 150+ M&A professionals based in 15 countries. Our focus sectors are TMT, Business Services, Healthcare, Industrial, Consumer, Automotive, Healthcare and Energy. The GCC team has built a solid roster of repeat clients and is staffed by team members with international investment banking experience.
How you will contribute
Our clients operate in constantly evolving and complex environments and seek advisors that can make a noticeable impact on their strategic agendas. A&M’s Corporate Finance team sits at the center of the client agenda advising on acquisitions, divestitures, privatizations, joint ventures, portfolio optimization, capital structure, capital raising & capital markets, and valuations.
We are looking for Directors to join our established M&A team in Dubai and help us drive growth and penetration into our chosen industries whilst working with the most demanding clients at the senior management and sponsor level throughout the transaction lifecycle.
You will have the opportunity to build on your existing skills and industry focus by working alongside very experienced transactors on complex regional and cross border transactions across a range of industries.

Qualifications
You will be a high-energy individual and must like new challenges with true desire to continue to grow.
We would expect the successful candidate to bring:
-
10+ years of relevant experience ideally within an international investment bank and boutiques.
-
Key industries of focus include a combination of, or specialization in, TMT with a focus on software, Energy, and Industrials (with a focus on logistics)
- a high-grade bachelor’s degree (or equivalent/higher) from an accredited top-tier university in business, economics, sciences or a similar discipline. An MBA / CFA / CA / master’s degree from a top-tier university would be preferred but not mandatory

Strong technical skills

willingness to travel across Middle East and beyond, at short notice

Transaction origination, client management and execution

Lead origination teams working across the pitching effort

Proactively develop transaction ideas

Lead the execution team for mandates taking leadership on key elements

Be a keen multitasker to deliver on demanding timetables

Work in close coordination with other teams of A&M within the region and internationally on both origination and execution

Develop and counsel junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive team growth and development
Transaction management
