Job Purpose
Responsible for coordinating and overseeing the development, configuration, testing, and maintenance of digital platforms. This role involves managing common applications, including configuration updates and further development, providing Level 2 support and troubleshooting for SOPC-supported applications, and handling incident management. The Director will gather business requirements for application development, configure commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, and develop custom applications to meet business needs. Additionally, this role includes completing integrations between key systems to improve workflow, managing all integration points and APIs, and undertaking testing of application changes and developments prior to launch.

Digital Solution Coordination

Coordinating and overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of digital solutions.

Capturing work requirements, understanding technical perspectives, and partnering with various stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and timely delivery of solutions.
Design and Development

Collaborating with designers and developers to define user requirements, create user interfaces, and develop the underlying software architecture.

Ensuring the design and development align with SOPC’s digital strategy and user needs.
Configuration and Testing

Configuring the digital platform and conducting thorough testing to ensure its functionality, performance, and compatibility.
Platform Maintenance and Monitoring

Ensuring the digital platform is up and running smoothly.

Monitoring the platform’s performance, identifying and resolving any technical issues, and implementing necessary updates or enhancements to ensure its reliability, security, and scalability.
Vendor Management

Identifying, onboarding, and managing third parties who will form part of the Solutions يevelopment capability in SOPC when additional capacity or niche capability is required.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery and optimization of digital solutions that align with business objectives, including strategy planning, digital solution delivery, optimization, and governance.
