The Director, Employee Development & Engagement (Dir, EDE) leads initiatives that foster employee growth and enhance organizational effectiveness. This role plays a crucial part in designing, implementing, and evaluating development and engagement programs with Safran Cabin that drives efforts to foster a high-performance culture, support organizational change, and develop future leaders.
This function will need to highly collaborate with senior leadership, key departments and stakeholders to implement impactful programs that elevate talent, employee experience, strengthen company culture, and align talent strategies with business goals, while engaging communications about program information to encourage participation and highlight the value and benefits of training.
In addition, Director, Employee Development & Engagement approves new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs, collaborating with functional management teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs as well as effectiveness of established programs. The Director, Employee Development & Engagement, will execute effective onboarding to assure new employees know how to be effective & successful in their role and implement Cabin designed development plans to employees for future advancement. Additionally, provide guidance to managers to ensure that regular and effective coaching is being delivered to their teams. Success in the role will be measured in three fundamental ways:

Onboarding & Integration
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture and equipped for success.
- Lead the Performance Management program philosophy, process, and supporting resources for goal setting, quarterly check-ins, ongoing feedback, and year-end reviews.
- Deliver a scalable individual development plan process that encourages a growth mindset and continuous skill and competency development
- Design a career path framework that supports individuals with personal and professional development options consistent with his/her talents and interests
Consult with senior management and function leaders regarding talent development and engagement needs
Development & Advancement
- Collaborate with department heads and site leaders to identify skill gaps and create matrix training plans for available Safran programs to address them.
- Design and facilitate engaging learning experiences that promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Evaluates programs focused on work-life, remote working, education, training, and others to provide options that engage employees.
