Job Description/Responsibilities

The Director, Enterprise ERP Platform(s) & Integration is accountable for the development, optimization, stability, and long-term business value of Sazerac’s enterprise ERP platform and its integration ecosystem.
This is a platform ownership role — not simply a project delivery or development position. The Director will own the ERP strategy and multi-year roadmap, lead development teams accountable for implementation and stabilization efforts, and ensure the platform continues to deliver measurable value well beyond go-live. This leader is responsible for disciplined architecture, integration governance, and sustained operational performance across a hybrid environment of cloud and legacy systems.
Partnering closely with the CIO, CFO, and functional leaders, this role translates technical complexity into clear business outcomes and ensures technology investments directly support company growth, financial integrity, and operational scalability.

Qualifications/Requirements

Platform Ownership & Accountability
  • Own ERP platform strategy, roadmap, and resource allocation across multi-year delivery tracks
  • Drive development, quality, cost, risk, and optimization across implementation and ongoing operations
  • Influence and stand behind tradeoff decisions, taking accountability for stabilization and performance post go-live
Technical Delivery & Architectural Leadership
  • Provide deep technical credibility across ERP architecture and core modules
  • Guide design decisions and challenge vendors to ensure disciplined configuration and minimal customization in a SaaS environment
  • Establish development standards that protect scalability, security, and long-term sustainability
Integration & Ecosystem Governance
  • Define and govern enterprise integration strategy across cloud, legacy (including AS400/System 21), and third-party platforms
  • Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation integrity, and system coexistence across the enterprise
  • Anticipate downstream impacts of architectural and integration decisions
Executive & Business Partnership
  • Communicate risks, tradeoffs, costs, and commitments clearly at the executive level
  • Partner closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT leaders to prioritize initiatives against company KPIs
  • Operate as a strategic enabler — aligning platform execution with enterprise value
People & Capacity Leadership
  • Build and mentor a high-performing ERP and integration leadership team, including career pathing and annual KPIs to drive individual development and company success
  • Establish clear roles, career paths, and accountability structures
  • Develop sustainable internal and external capacity, with the right roles and skills, to support continuous delivery and future technology evolution of the ERP Platform and Integration
Requirements
  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
  • 10+ years of ERP platform implementation, development, and lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated ownership of a large-scale ERP platform from strategy through sustained operation
  • Strong expertise in modern ERP platforms, with specific experience in Oracle Fusion
  • Experience architecting and governing hybrid (cloud + legacy) enterprise environments
  • Proven leadership of complex system integrations across multiple business functions
  • Experience managing system integrators and technology vendors

Preferred
  • Experience leading Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations
