About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Director of Finance in Jumeirah Messilah Beach. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

Financial Management & Compliance: Maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and oversee preparation and review of financial statements.

Cash Flow & Controls: Implement strong cash management controls, prepare forecasts, and ensure timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

Team Leadership: Supervise the Finance team, ensuring timely reporting, smooth operations, and continuous training and development.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, analyze variances, and set financial objectives to maximize ROI.

Strategic & Stakeholder Alignment: Provide financial insights for strategic planning, align departmental goals with corporate strategy, and maintain effective communication with owners, asset managers, and auditors.

Continuous Improvement & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements, address audit findings, and drive best practices to improve financial processes and mitigate risks.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting or Professional accreditation e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CMA.

Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Advanced)

10-15 years’ experience in a similar role in a 5-star luxury brands.

Strong financial and project management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and capital expenditure planning.

Experience in multicultural environments and Middle East operations, with excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
