As Director, Game Studio, you’ll lead Black Throne, our in-house Game Studio, shaping the future of our Slots, Table Games, and Social Games portfolio. You’ll set the vision for this vertical, guiding strategy, creative direction, and execution while building and empowering a high-performing team. In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of product innovation, player experience, and business impact, bringing bold ideas to life and delivering world-class gaming experiences at scale. You’ll define how we build, launch, and evolve games, positioning Black Throne as a driving force behind our Casino growth and long-term success.
What You'll Do
Lead a team of designers, including senior individual contributors and design managers by providing clear direction, coaching, and career development.
Lead and scale Black Throne, overseeing the end-to-end strategy, development and performance of Slots, Table Games and Social Games.
Set goals and priorities that align design work with product strategy and business objectives.
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Analytics to define vision, shape roadmaps, and drive alignment across functions.
Oversee the full game lifecycle- from concept and prototyping through launch and live ops- ensuring on-time delivery and high bar for quality.
Ensure design work is scoped, prioritized, and delivered on time and with a high bar for quality.
Represent the design org in cross-functional planning, team resourcing, and executive-level product reviews.
Scale operations and improve rituals, tools, and systems that support team clarity and collaboration.
Collaborate with other design leaders to drive consistency in processes, shared systems, and team culture.
Contribute to org-wide initiatives such as hiring, onboarding, mentorship, and talent development.
Bachelor's degree in Design or any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
At least 10 years of experience in game design, with significant experience leading game development teams.
Deep expertise in Slots, Table Games, Social Games, or adjacent real-money or free-to-play gaming products.
Strong product and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate player insights and data into compelling, high performing game experiences.
Experience bringing structure and clarity to complex, ambiguous problem spaces.
Confidence representing design in senior leadership conversations, team planning, and org resourcing.
A commitment to inclusive leadership and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.
A desire to contribute beyond your vertical, supporting org-wide improvement and a strong design community.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 196,000.00 USD - 245,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
