Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the government communication strategy in line with the Ministry’s objectives.

Build and manage strong relationships with local and international media outlets.

Oversee media relations and the issuance of official press releases and statements.

Supervise media campaigns, awareness initiatives, and digital content.
-
Manage crisis communication and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic and operational plans for the department and monitor achievement of approved objectives.
- Supervise administrative operations including planning, budgeting, reporting, service delivery,evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and monitor the performance of organizational units under the department to avoid duplication and ensure alignment of objectives.
- Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with external stakeholders and motivate internal partners to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead, review, approve, and enhance work procedures, performance indicators, and quality standards, and submit improvement recommendations to senior management for approval.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and high-quality performance.
- Monitor performance indicators, review achievement levels, evaluate staff performance, and prepare the department’s annual performance report.
- Provide full support to the direct supervisor and perform any additional tasks as assigned.
Specialized Responsibilities
- Supervise media support provided to ministers and senior leadership.
- Oversee implementation of internal and external communication strategies with stakeholders.
- Supervise organization of official events, campaigns, and government communication activities related to the entity’s mandate.
- Oversee preparation and execution of all marketing and media materials (print, audio, and visual).
- Supervise implementation of the entity’s digital media strategy.
- Monitor all media coverage related to the entity and prepare follownup reports.
- Oversee official spokesperson participation across all media channels.
- Supervise issuance of periodic publications related to the entity.
- Coordinate with the Government Communication Office at the General Secretariat of the Cabinet to ensure alignment with national communication strategies.
- Supervise documentation of all activities and events of the entity.
- Ensure application of quality standards for the entity’s official website in coordination with concerned stakeholders.
