Role Purpose
The Director, Integrated Data & Architecture is accountable for establishing a secure, trusted, and interoperable data foundation across the airport company and its aviation ecosystem.
The role will create a unified single source of truth, define enterprise and cross-partner data standards, lead architecture integration across legacy and future systems, and enable data-driven operations, performance management, and digital innovation.
This position is central to reducing fragmentation across more than 20 data environments and transforming data into a strategic asset for operational excellence, commercial growth, safety, and regulatory confidence.
Key Accountabilities
Integrated Data Strategy

Define and execute the multi-year roadmap for data integration, governance, and platform modernization.

Align investments to corporate strategy, operational resilience, and customer experience.

Establish principles for interoperability across current and future systems.
Enterprise & Ecosystem Architecture

Own end-to-end data architecture including integration patterns, master data, metadata, APIs, and information flows.

Rationalize legacy platforms and reduce duplication.

Ensure scalability for AI, automation, and predictive capabilities.
Data Governance & Control
-
Establish data ownership and stewardship across business units.

Implement policies covering quality, security, privacy, retention, and lifecycle.

Lead governance councils and enforce adherence to standards.
Single Source of Truth

Deliver certified, trusted datasets for executive reporting and operational control.

Harmonize definitions, KPIs, and metrics across stakeholders.

Eliminate conflicting reports.
Aviation Ecosystem Integration

Define frameworks for data exchange with airlines, ground handlers, authorities, concessionaires, and mobility partners.

Support collaborative decision making through shared and synchronized data.

Lead data standardization in line with international best practice.
Platform & Delivery Oversight

Sponsor and oversee implementation of the enterprise data hub / lake / warehouse.

Govern vendors, integrators, and technology partners.

Ensure value realization from investments.
Risk, Cyber & Compliance

Reduce operational and regulatory risk arising from inconsistent or poor-quality data.

Ensure secure cross-organizational information exchange.
Change & Capability Development

Promote data literacy and accountability.

Embed governed, data-driven ways of working.
Reporting Line
Typically reports to: VP Digital Transformation & Innovation
Acts as a strategic peer to leaders in Operations, Commercial, Finance, Technology, Security, and Risk.
Leadership Scope

Build and lead capabilities across governance, architecture, engineering, and analytics enablement.

Chair enterprise and cross-partner data forums.

Direct major transformation programs and associated budgets.
Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in IT engineering
-
12–15+ years in data, digital, or enterprise architecture leadership.

Proven success integrating complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Experience implementing governance and master data frameworks.
-
Strong executive influencing and change leadership capability.
-
Aviation, transport, or regulated infrastructure experience preferred.
