Director, Marketing Communications

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?


The Director of Marketing Communications leads the development and execution of integrated marketing communications strategies across North America, supporting residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. This role oversees paid media, social media, email marketing, influencer programs, and strategic content development. It also owns brand architecture and storytelling, ensuring consistent, compelling messaging across all channels and customer segments.

Integrated Campaign Development
Lead planning and execution of brand, sector, and product marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels. Ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

Brand Architecture & Strategic Storytelling
Oversee brand positioning and architecture across North American business units. Guide strategic storytelling and content frameworks that unify messaging and elevate brand presence across sectors.

Channel Management & Optimization
Manage paid media, social media, outbound email marketing, and influencer programs. Drive performance through data-driven optimization and cross-channel coordination.

Content Strategy & Editorial Oversight
Direct the development of customer-facing content across digital, print, and experiential channels. Ensure content reflects brand tone, strategic priorities, and sector-specific narratives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with product marketing, brand, creative, and digital teams to ensure cohesive execution and alignment across all touchpoints.

Performance Measurement & Reporting
Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure campaign effectiveness, brand impact, and content performance. Use insights to inform strategy and improve ROI.

Team Leadership & Development
Lead a multidisciplinary team including communications strategists, content creators, and channel specialists. Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.


IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Customer Experience, or related field required.
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing communications, brand strategy, or content leadership.
  • 7 -10+ years in leadership roles with responsibility for cross-functional programs and enterprise initiatives required.
  • Proven success in leading multi-channel campaigns, brand architecture, and strategic storytelling in large organizations.
  • Experience in B2B and B2B2C environments preferred, ideally within industrial or manufacturing sectors.
  • Expertise in brand strategy, content development, and integrated communications.
  • Strong understanding of paid media, social platforms, email marketing, and influencer engagement.
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, team leadership, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy and influence in a fast-paced, enterprise setting.
