About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic sales leader to drive the success of our account management team. This is a fully remote role overseeing the Midwest territory. Travel expectation: up to 50%.

The Director of Account Management is responsible for overseeing the account management team, driving customer retention and growth, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. This role develops and executes account strategies, mentors team members, and collaborates cross-functionally to enhance the customer experience and maximize revenue.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor account management team to achieve retention and expansion goals
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow key client accounts
  • Act as primary contact for high-value clients, ensuring their needs are met
  • Monitor account health and performance metrics; adjust strategies as needed
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts
  • Resolve client issues and complaints promptly to maintain trust and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams to improve service delivery
  • Prepare and present reports on account status, performance and forecasts
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in Account Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of driving customer retention and revenue growth
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
