The Director of Adult Services oversees the operation, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and strategic development of all Adult Service programs at Hope Adult Center. This role ensures that service comply with state and federal standards (including 55 Pa. Code 6100), lead to meaningful outcomes, and promote participant choice, dignity, and community inclusion.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee program operations, service delivery, participant safety, and satisfaction.

Establish The Hope Adult Center timelines for referrals and services based on legal guidelines.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and licensing regulations (ODP, PROMISe, HCSIS).

Lead Incident Management and Risk Assessment efforts, including reporting and corrective actions.

Supervise Program Specialists and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and program goals.

Create internal processes for writing and reviewing IDSPs to ensure legal compliance.

Oversee fiscal operations including billing compliance, claims management, and credentialing.

Lead the Quality Management Plan (PM Plan) initiatives, including performance measurement and improvement strategies.

Forster positive working relationships with participants, families, community partners, and regulatory bodies.

Participate in strategic planning and service development initiatives.

Develop and implement Adult Autism Waiver procedures.
Skills and Competencies

Exceptional knowledge or waiver programs, incident management, ISP development, and service delivery models.

Excellent communication, strategic planning, and project management capabilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and electronic health record/documentation systems.

Attention to detail and commitment to compliance and safety protocols.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology. Social Work, Special Education, or a closely related discipline.

At least 5 years of management experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or serious mental illness.

Strong working knowledge of Pennsylvania regulations, waiver services, and community integration practices.

Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams and managing quality assurance initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Human Services, Public Administration, or a related field.

Extensive knowledge of 55 Pa. Code 6100, PROMISe, and HCSIS compliance processes.

Experience in strategic planning, supported employment, and innovative service model development
