Salary Range: $140,000 - $190,000

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to lead diverse initiatives in collaboration with teams from the United States, Mexico, and Canada. With a focus on our manufacturing processes, you will lead global projects designed to optimize how we manufacture and distribute products.

The successful candidate is a passionate thought leader with a wide range of manufacturing process experience and an ability to lead diverse teams toward accomplishing challenging goals.

Essential Job Functions
To be successful in the role, you should be prepared to leverage your process experience in new and creative ways. You will apply project management principles to strategic challenges within manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations. You should be intellectually curious and enjoy solving unique business challenges. With a focus on improving how we optimize our manufacturing processes, you should be prepared to perform the following:

  • Research, evaluate, and implement advanced automation technologies and processes to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders and stakeholders to drive initiatives designed to improve manufacturing and distribution processes.
  • Leverage your manufacturing process expertise to optimize how we injection mold, die cast, stamp, turn, spin, assemble, and ship product.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure we accomplish our goals and adhere to established schedules and project objectives.
  • Consolidate, quantify, and analyze data to inform our business strategy.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the systems that drive our business.
  • Leverage technology to manage day-to-day project-specific tasks and developments.
  • Manage the integration of cross-functional requirements.
  • Present at leadership meetings and other forums.
  • Deploy continuous improvement problem solving tools like LEAN and Six Sigma to solve a variety of operational challenges.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 10+ years leading manufacturing operations.
  • 5+ years leading projects
  • Experience with hardware manufacturing processes preferred (injection molding, stamping, die casting, screw machining, CNC turning, roll forming, assembly, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to create documents and presentations.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and other project management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, leading teams and coordinating with peers.
  • Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness of opportunities to improve processes.
  • Strong ability to work in an ambiguous environment, identify and solve new problems, and manage change.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with various disciplines and peer groups.
  • Promotes ideas persuasively and shapes key internal/external stakeholder opinions.
  • Manages complex, multiple, and continually changing priorities.
  • Able to travel and work effectively within a variety of domestic and international cultures, 25% minimum expected travel.

Education & Certification
  • A minimum bachelor’s degree. STEM/Finance/Business preferred.
  • Project management advanced training and certification a plus.

  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel will be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
