Director of Assets – Events

We are currently seeking a Director of Assets – Events for our client in the events industry, based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and leadership ability to oversee and optimize the company’s warehouse, asset management, and CapEx operations .

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management and utilization of all event-related assets, equipment, and inventory.
• Develop and implement asset management strategies to ensure cost efficiency and operational excellence.
• Manage CapEx planning, budgeting, and procurement to align with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor the warehouse and logistics teams to improve workflow and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project and operations teams to forecast asset requirements and optimize availability.
• Analyze data to identify trends, reduce costs, and improve asset lifecycle management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
• 10+ years’ experience in asset or operations management within events, AV/tech, or production industries
• Strong leadership with proven experience in CapEx/OPEX control and warehouse management
• Strategic thinker with solid analytical, organizational, and process-driven skills
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution abilities
• Highly adaptable, results-oriented, and effective in high-pressure, multi-market environments
