Slim Chickens is looking for a Director of Brand Impact who will architect the moments, partnerships, and campaigns that elevate Slims from a fast-growing restaurant brand to a cultural force.
This is not a traditional brand stewardship role. This is a cultural engine role.
You will build and own the strategic campaign calendar, develop dynamic brand partnerships, and create unexpected, buzzworthy initiatives that generate earned media, drive traffic, and deepen brand affinity. You’ll sit at the intersection of creative, partnerships, culinary, PR, and performance — ensuring our biggest ideas move culture and chicken.
Your mission: engineer moments people talk about — not just ads people scroll past.
Build and own a 12–18 month brand impact calendar aligned to product launches, LTOs, openings, and seasonal moments
Develop big, culturally relevant campaign ideas that ladder to long-term brand positioning
Identify unexpected timing opportunities across sports, music, entertainment, internet culture, and community
Ensure campaigns balance brand appeal and revenue impact
Identify, negotiate, and execute high-impact brand collaborations and cultural partnerships
Develop frameworks for brand and community collaborations that feel authentic and buzzworthy
Structure partnerships that drive earned media, social conversation, and in-store traffic
Manage relationship development with agencies, brands, and cultural connected
Lead cross-functional ideation sessions that push beyond safe, predictable campaigns
Translate consumer insight and cultural trends into executable brand activations
Ensure ideas are scalable across digital, in-store, PR, and field marketing channels
Partner with Creative and Content teams to maintain bold but cohesive storytelling
Oversee campaign execution from concept through post-mortem
Align cross-functional teams (Creative, Paid, Influencer, Field, PR, Operations) around campaign priorities
Manage budgets and timelines for brand impact initiatives
Ensure operational feasibility while protecting creative ambition
Monitor emerging trends, creators, internet culture, and competitive activations
Bring forward proactive ideas that keep Slims ahead of the conversation
Identify whitespace opportunities that competitors are missing
Build a repeatable system for generating “talk value,” not just impressions
Campaigns generate organic buzz and earned media beyond paid investment
Partnerships feel unexpected yet unmistakably Slims
Brand moments drive measurable traffic and sales impact
The campaign calendar feels dynamic, intentional, and culturally sharp
Slims is referenced in culture — not just in advertising
Skills and Abilities Required:
8+ years in brand marketing, cultural marketing, partnerships, experiential, or integrated campaigns
Proven portfolio of buzzworthy or unconventional campaigns (please send us some examples with you resume)
Strong negotiation and partnership development skills
Ability to balance creative ambition with operational discipline
Deep understanding of how culture-first brands generate conversation
Experience collaborating with performance marketing teams to align brand heat with revenue outcomes
Comfortable presenting bold ideas to executive leadership
Experience in restaurant, food & beverage, or high-growth consumer brands preferred
You’ll shape how a high-growth restaurant brand shows up in culture — not just in media buys.
You’ll build the blueprint for brand moments that drive both heat and traffic. You’ll collaborate with a fast-moving, performance-oriented marketing team that values bold ideas backed by results.
